About Us:
Welcome to our website! My name is Nikki and my mom (Sue) and I work as a team to raise the very best Shih Tzu's possible. My mom has been breeding for 30 years, so ever since I was very young I have been introduced to the wonderful world of dog breeding. My mom first started out breeding Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties). Then about 20 years ago we got our very first Shih Tzu. It was love at first sight! We have been breeding Shih Tzu's for nearly 17 years now. In our opinion, there is no other breed like a Shih Tzu. We truly have the best job ever! Our dogs mean the world to us. My mom and I have great compassion for the breed. We do not breed to "make money".
We are active in our puppies lives from the moment they are born. Our dogs mean everything to us. Sometimes there are sleepless nights while waiting for a litter of pups to be born or a pup needs extra tlc and bottle fed every 3 hours round the clock, but it is always so worth it. Watching that puppy take its first breath is an amazing experience that I will always treasure.
About Our Dogs:
Our adults are first and foremost our wonderful pets, they are not "breeders". We do not find new homes for our dogs after they are retired from breeding. Their home will always be with us. All of our Shih Tzu's are raised in our home, they are not in cages. We take pride in the quality that we have. Our dogs are healthy, vet checked and current on all vaccinations. More importantly, temperment is very important to us and our dogs have the best personalities ever!! Our pups are part of the family, they are not kennel raised. Our pups are super socialized and are held and loved from day one. Each one of our pups are very special to us. Every pup gets individualized attention. When we can't watch the pups or we go out, the pups have their own bedroom to play safely in (we transformed our 3rd 12x14 bedroom into a puppy room).
All pups will have had their first set of shots, vet checked, wormed and registered before they leave our home. All of our breeding is carefully thought out and we NEVER inbreed. Inbred puppies can result in many health problems as well as imperfections in their personality and appearance.
Our dogs generally produce gold/white, black/white, red/white, brindle/white, solid red, solid white, liver/white, solid black, solid brindle, lavender, solid blue, solid liver, solid chocolate and solid gold pups. Our pups are normally between 9-12 pounds full grown, but we do occasionally have smaller pups for sale.
All of our puppies are on a spay/neuter contract. This just means that your puppy must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age. Once altered, you must provide a photocopy of the spay/neuter certificate from the vet, and we will send you the registration papers. We will gladly show you the registration papers so you do know that your new puppy is registered.
We have kept in contact with most of the people who have bought one of our wonderful babies in the past and have MANY references. We would be happy to give references to anyone who is interested.
